Providing services in order to acquire scientific data on boron and boron-based products, Eti Maden carries out punctual, thorough and reliable operations by meeting the requirements of analysis methods with its quality-oriented approach thanks to its employees, whose areas of expertise are supported through internal and external trainings.

Designing the future of boron, Eti Maden established its laboratories in accordance with global standards with the aim of setting the quality standards of boron and boron-based products and realizing production with greater efficiency and lower costs. Eti Maden also obtained certificates such as the TS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 Laboratory Quality Policy, the TS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 Laboratory and Experiment Devices Accreditation Contract, and the TS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 Laboratory and Experiment Devices Accreditation Certificate and Accreditation Scope. There are wet analysis and instrumental analysis laboratories for carrying out the Research and Development projects. In these laboratories, the following analyses are conducted:

  • Boron compound analyses,
  • Chromite mineral analyses,
  • Trona analyses,
  • Natural silicates and barite mineral analyses,
  • Water analyses,
  • Other analyses (sieve analyses, density, thermogravimetric analyses, sampling).

High Efficiency in Global Quality Standards

The quality research of all boron products, which are produced by Eti Maden at their facilities in Emet, Kütahya, in Bigadiç, Balıkesir, in Kestelek, Bursa, in Bandırma, Balıkesir, and in Kırka, Eskişehir, is conducted using high-tech devices by carrying out physical and chemical analyses.

Aiming to produce efficient and sustainable boron and boron-based products of high quality in accordance with global quality standards and at low costs, Eti Maden contributes to the mining industry in Turkey and the world with scientific data by carrying out analyses, not only of boron and boron-based products, but also of other minerals that are included in the organization’s field of operation according to demand. Moreover, other activities are carried out at these laboratories which shape developments in the mining industry. These activities include participation in Research and Development projects, carrying out research and analyses in accordance with customer feedback, and carrying out paid analyses based on the demands of third parties.

Eti Maden’s objective in laboratory research is to maximize satisfaction by taking these demands into account. In this respect, it keeps track of the technological developments in the mining sector, continuously improving its laboratories. The fundamental service principles at the laboratories are determined as follows: neutrality, autonomy, confidentiality, reliability, and a quality-oriented approach.
